Volunteer Opportunity for Deaf and Upper-Division ASL Students

Deaf community members and allies,

My name is Chrystee Davenport and I am the volunteer coordinator for the deaf school in SLC, Jean Massieu School for the Deaf (JMS).  Starting in a few weeks, we will be having tutoring time on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30pm for 3rd grade to high school students.  We need as many volunteers as we can get to help these students continue their education in their first language, ASL.  We also need volunteers during the week for all classes.  This will be a perfect opportunity for you to add more volunteer time on your resume and to serve the deaf students of Utah.  JMS is an awesome place with many awesome kids! Trust me, I work there and LOVE it! If you are interested or have more questions, contact me at vivacechrys@gmail.com.  Thank you and hope to see your involvement at JMS soon!!
